Low voltage straight out of the box
I bought this alternator and installed it on my 2005 Mercedes C230. The voltage was low after I installed it, only 12.8 volts with the engine running. Eight months later my C230 is getting a low voltage warning light and I have to remove and replace this very poor quality alternator. The voltage regulator is annoying. This time I will buy a real Bosch generator.
