polish metal? Got it.

I used it to restore a 50 year old bike. As you can imagine, the chrome and aluminum were in pretty bad shape. Some of the chrome wasn't saved, but I'll tell you what I've learned through trial and error, hoping it will save you some time. First start the metal with the grinding wheels on your Dremel tool. Start with the finest grit and adjust as needed, be careful. Now for polishing. Use Blue Magic Polishing Cream. Why, because this stuff eliminated the bluing from the chrome tailpipes that ran too lean, that should tell you why. Apply polish (heavy duty) to chrome or aluminum, load the wheel into your Dremel and away you go. Start with low settings on your Dremel until you are comfortable. I never used it full speed except for the next two lower settings. He got my Honda CB 750 in top condition so that should tell you something. It's boring, but this combo will do the trick. It's just a metal maintenance routine after that, but these polished wheels bring it back. Now I have the best 50 year old Japanese woman in the state.
