Surprised there is no rating for this fan. Has a lot of features for the price and it's dimmable using the remote. The blades are wood. Looks exactly as pictured. The fan does hang low, I did use it on 8ft ceiling, has not caused any problems. The air quality is great even on low setting. The fan is silent so you do not hear any noise. I purchased a higher price fan and wished I had purchased this one first. If you are hesitant about purchasing, go ahead you will be pleased. I will add a picture later.
