Works as a docking station for early MacBooks and LG 34UC88 ultrawide monitors
I'm using it to connect an early MacBook to a LG 34UC88 ultrawide monitor. It does the job and I recommend it Pro: Works. Allows me to use a UW 4K display, charge and have USB peripherals. Paired with a basic MacBook vertical stand, it makes a good docking station. Cons: The USB-C connector doesn't always fit directly into a MacBook port. It took me 15 seconds the first time. Now it takes 3. Everything.
