I agree with some of the other reviews, the edge is very sharp and for most it's the main point to press for a secure fit. that is my main problem. It doesn't close in every bottle. I thought all wine bottles were roughly the same diameter. Ney Ney, hence the ribbed cork. However, if you can't manage to hold the spout upright to the very last rim, there's a chance it will be pushed out because the aerator is slowing down the pressure of the wine. It happened to me twice. I lost about a glass of very good wine x2.
