Review on πŸ”§ Watts Adjustable Relief Poppet 0371271 by Jason Rogness

Revainrating 3 out of 5

So far so good, about 5 weeks

Used to replace the 75 pound pressure relief valve installed by Ryland Homes on the borough's water supply, which a borough official says can withstand up to 100 psi can. Every time I started the Rainbird system, the old faucet on the main from the street would open and not close. When I was absent, the water flowed onto the street. You might think that if a neighbor is outside the house, it could come and turn it off, or ring a bell. I received a water bill of $580.00 for a month. Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida. Also, the old valve didn't close again until you cycled the main valve. I set this valve at 105psi and it never opened. I think I might turn it lower until it opens and see if it closes on its own as it releases excess pressure. I haven't done it yet.
