My kid and I bought two of these masks to use in our Open Water Scuba training. The first day in the pool, they were ok. A little flooding / leakage, but nothing too bad. By day two, we had to clear our masks roughly every three minutes. Water was coming in from all sides, especially in the nose. Neither of us have long hair, so that wasn't getting in the way of the seal, and they were tightened properly. I thought maybe we were doing something wrong, so I swapped to some cheap masks the training center had on hand. no problems. Back to the WaCool, immediate flooding. The only plus side is that we got a lot of practice clearing our masks out.After our first weekend, we went to the dive shop and picked up some shop-recommended masks (at about 3x time the price) and the difference was night and day. Watertight and clear on deeper dives and just something we didn't have to think about. The upgrade was well worth the price.Our main takeaway from this mask was realizing that it's going to be worth investing in recommended gear from your dive shop that you try on first and talk through rather than picking cheaper options online without touching them first and getting feedback from people who know what they're doing.The snorkel was pretty good for the price though.
