Disappointed best with alternators and alternators

Unit arrived damaged in shipping so I had to drill a mounting hole. It's okay, but after installation the voltage fluctuates between 12.2 and 14.9 and sometimes 14.3 where it should stay. The seller says back but what a pain. Luckily I kept the original which worked much better.
