I had my doubts about needing a "special" knife to cut bread. I mean, what's so unusual about a knife? It's sharp and it cuts. Isn't every knife? But I was so sick of ruining freshly baked bread by crushing it every time I tried to slice it. I read reviews about this set, didn't believe it and bought it. I'm so glad I did. This knife cuts bread so easily, straight, slices perfectly thin and never crumples my bread even when I'm slicing it while it's still hot. Wonderful! I love it! I should have bought this many years ago. I also really like how the knife slides cleanly into the cutting board. Very convenient. The cutting board isn't too big, but big enough to put loaves of bread on and it holds up neatly next to my bread maker. Ideal. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend. The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful on my countertop. Thanks very much!
