Quality Issue: Balance

Very nice bag with a nice design. The question of quality is not so much in the materials used, but in the manufacturing. I sent the first bag back because it didn't stand upright on a flat surface (floor, table). Empty or full, it fell on its side because it wasn't well balanced. Luckily the second bag I received is straight. I'm thinking of buying one as a gift for someone but I'm hesitating because I'm having the same problem again.
