The day I bought this generator I specifically chose it because it was not a rebuild, the price was reasonable and the packaging was really impressive. Considering it was a heavy item for its size, when I bought it online all I knew was that the delivery would somehow manage to rip the packaging bouncing around the back of the truck but considering that the seller took extreme care in packaging for the intended delivery. it was sent undamaged. However, the outer box it came in was not undamaged, it was almost torn as I expected. When I opened the box, which didn't take long since it was almost open anyway, I found the perfectly preserved box that contained the generator and it was very well packaged with no damage to the part. It came with a test sheet from the factory detailing the test specifications and according to my voltmeter it met the specs. The alternator was a soft whisper, had good voltages without hesitation with the accessories fully on and looked great on my old but still well maintained 97 f150. I highly recommend buying from this seller, they made every effort to ship a perfectly working part and it was NOT a refurbishment, you could clearly see everything about it was truly brand new. In this part I made the right decision, this isn't Motorcraft, but the price isn't Motorcraft. When cars get old, people hesitate to spend too much money to keep them running.
