I bought this shirt to play pickleball and go to the gym. I'm 6ft 1in, waist 34in, chest 44in, and most of these shirts fit slightly above my waist. A tall version highlights this shirt. I can sell out for a long pickleball volleyball or pump out a set of power cleans and I know this shirt won't constrict around my navel. I have a slightly larger chest and it fits my upper body well. The sleeves and neckline aren't bad either. It's basically a compression shirt. But if you buy a size up, this is the best all-around shirt.
