Clear window smaller than expected

I used this map case on a 5 day canoe trip. It worked well for keeping my cards dry and I liked that it folds down with velcro to keep it folded. On the other hand, the viewport was smaller than other map covers I've used that are the same overall size. In addition, the viewing window is only on one side. In the future I will choose a case that is 100% clear.
