Already ordered a second one after receiving the first one. So if you are in doubt and want to test it first, trust me, just get 2 or more in advance. You will not be disappointed. It's getting harder and harder to find flashable Esphome/Tasmota Smart Connectors, and while they're a bit more expensive, the ease of installation is worth it, and I'm happy to support anyone who puts local control/security first. I usually create my own esp8266 devices but I don't think I can create something clean like that. I had a little trouble adding it to HA and got a 401 error when connecting to MQTT, but that was my fault, it was due to a modified version of Mosquitto I was using (a fork by kr0ner). Once I figured out the credentials I was looking for, everything worked great. My only (very) minor comment is that the lightbulb turns off for 1 second and back on on reset, and while smart plugs don't do this, I don't think it's possible to keep the lightbulb on during reboot. Also, I may be wrong due to the above MQTT issues I encountered, but I believe that SetOption19 (detection) is disabled by default. So if you're running Tasmota and having detection issues, log into the Tasmota console and type "SetOption19 on ".
