Review on EXEDY MC229 Clutch Master Cylinder: Reliable Performance and Smooth Shifting by Robert Rasmussen

Absolutely fantastic replacement. Replaced a faulty master cylinder when I originally bought the car and while it got me shifting again it wasn't the best. A year later it failed completely so I ordered this one. As everyone says, this isn't an Exedy branded part, just a Daiken or something. But damn it works great. Swapped the slave just in case and the pedal feel is significantly better, the contact point is no longer half a millimeter above the ground and it remains the same. The build quality is also much better. Be sure to buy! -- NB1 MX5 '99.
