BLEF: Good price, Made in America, great documentation, H20 quality! I would recommend the APEC RO-HI home water filter to anyone who wants an unlimited supply of fresh, clean and safe water! We live in Northeast Florida and generally obtain good quality water from our community with a TDS of about 150 or less and it is drinkable. Tap water tastes good, but has a chlorine odor and a heavy mouthfeel. We decided to purchase a system that would provide clean, filtered water on demand. The system was well packaged with excellent textual and graphical installation instructions. The installation took about two hours from start to finish. I'm guessing it's a bit longer than most since I didn't install the unit under the sink, but mounted it on the wall in the garage to make it easier to run multiple lines to the sink faucet and fridge with water and ice maker. All components are well made, lead free and leak free with no issues. By following the instructions and letting the system fill and empty the 4 gallon tank after a few hours, the water coming out of the tap went from about 150 TDS to 6 TDS! Highly recommended!
