Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great way to power RaspberryPi 4 from Ender 3D printer

When I ordered my Ender 5 Pro I also ordered a Raspberry Pi to run OctoPi. I looked at the power supply in Ender and decided to use a buck converter to power the Pi. Looking through the results, I stumbled upon this nifty little thing: screw one side to the spare ports on the Ender power supply, and you have a USB-C that you can use to power your Pi directly. 3A is more than enough for a Pi: I have an 8GB model that has been running OctoPi - a custom 64-bit build - for a couple of weeks now with no problems. The only reason it didn't get a 5x rating is that the USB-C cable can be a few inches longer, making it easier to position the PI more freely than with this shorter cable.
