Review on Knitters Pride Karbonz Interchangeable Needles by Amy Mcleod

I tried these socks because I need a sock needle that is less smooth than nickel but not as sticky as wood or bamboo. The smooth texture of the carbon part of these needles is almost perfect. However, the connection between tip and stem just doesn't work for me. It appears to be well constructed, but the yarn hangs a little over this joint. The hook was really annoying compared to the plain nickel so I changed it back after a few rows. I used these tips with Cable Knit Picks. The cable connection isn't 100% smooth either, but that didn't bother me as the connector is smaller than the mesh. My only gripe with this transition is the tips. I can try rubbing some wax or Sugru into the problem area - if that works I'll update this review!
