While the Lyman Micro-Touch 1500 electronic scale is definitely easy to use and read, I found the readings to "wobble" even in light winds, which then wobble up or down by the same amount . like 7/10 of a grain. This makes every reading unstable and forces me to use the RCBS mechanical scale to confirm the Lyman 1500 electronic scale, which takes a bit longer. This causes frustration as an excess of 1 grain in a load can become dangerous or ruin an accurate load. Update 12/29/2020: These scales are not worth their money. In addition to the scale instability mentioned above, my Lyman scales seem to lose calibration with prolonged use. For example, I scrupulously calibrate it with the supplied 100 gram weight, leave the workshop briefly, come back and the reading is constantly fluctuating by up to 1 grain, which is a huge deviation. This forces me to recalibrate the scale, in addition to the 'jitter' issue described above and discovered shortly after purchase. It's completely absurd that I'm forced to use an old-school scale instead to get more accurate measurements. I don't even use my Lyman scale anymore for this reason - a waste of time, money and a shame. Beware.
