It really raised the PH to 8.3. I used it a few times because my PH was 8.0 no matter what I did. So I tried that and it brought it to 8.1 and then 8.2 the second time I used it. I waited a week before using it a second time just to avoid shock. When I used it for the third time, it went up to 8.3. A month later, he's still 8.3. PH saver! As stated in the description, its use can lower calcium levels. You may need to dose your calcium supplement the day after use. Mine went from 460 to 440. But I recommend testing your water before and after use to be sure.
