Review on 📱 AutoKit CarPlay Wireless to Android Head Unit: Perfectly Compatible with All Android 4.4+ Car Radios, Support Online Upgrade of AUTOKIT APP & Box Version by Nale Dunn

I am using an AutoKit CarPlay Wireless Dongle with a 2018 Fire Tablet 8 HD in my base 2013 Acura RDX. I cannot replace the head unit with an aftermarket head unit with CarPlay or Android Auto already installed. Software: I had no trouble installing the software on the tablet. I followed the instructions that came with the device. I connect the key to the tablet with an OTG cable. It takes a few seconds to connect wirelessly to my iPhone 11. Audio: I am using my phone's Bluetooth to play audio on my car's audio system. I tried using the car's audio dock connector because I find it has a richer sound than Bluetooth audio. Unfortunately the audio defaults back to CarPlay sound (tablet sound in my case), EVERY song changes. I gave up and only use bluetooth. I leave my phone plugged into the charger. You need to change your phone's sound source to Bluetooth every time the car starts. It doesn't happen automatically. Charging my tablet: I couldn't find a dual OTG cable that would allow me to charge my tablet with the Carlinkit dongle at the same time. The ones I've tried so far are only powerful enough to charge a streaming stick. I currently charge the tablet at home or at work between uses. Tablet mount: I bought a CD mount for my tablet here at Revain. It blocks my volume controls, but that's okay because I can use the steering wheel controls to adjust the volume and skip to the next song. I initially tried the dashboard mount, but the tablet kept falling with the mount. The key is attached to the back of the tablet case using the command line. Is this the ideal solution? no But for now it works until I buy another car. I'm glad I came across this product. CarPlay makes switching between podcasts, audiobooks, music and navigation apps much easier. I like the consistent landscape orientation. With this product, I can continue to use the CarPlay services. Removing the tablet from the charging cradle is no different than removing the phone from the cradle when I am not using that device.
