I love these beautiful detachable collars for the price!

Well I can't say that they don't wear out a bit but you can't expect a great collar for the price! The fact is that our one and a half year old girl Phantom really knows how to lose collars. What is she doing?! I don't know, but whatever it is, they go away like a breeze on a hot day! So I figured having a set at this price point was the way to go, especially after losing two of the more expensive ones. I also decided to do something different. I put in a large D-ring and connected the two together to insure against loss. I know some might think it's not secure but I disagree because if one breaks it connects to the other so at least you have one so people know it's theirs. I had a tag on her and she managed to lose it little Houdini! She doesn't go far, but that seems like enough to make her lose those things. Now if only they made custom tags in 12 packs, LOL! Anyway, they look really cool, beautiful. This is something with a gradient, which means one color fades into another on each collar, which I like. It's colorful and creative. And YES, they are removable! I don't know why some said they weren't stark naked on these issues. Tearing off means they have plastic snaps on each side that release the latch; If the cat is hanging from a tree or fence, it can detach itself. One type of dog collar usually has a different type of clasp that cannot be disassembled. It's a little difficult, yes, but I made it and I have fibromyalgia and arthritis. If you have a cat who likes to lose their collar or pulls it off easily, this is for you.
