Overall this is a good set for the money. If I had to say one bad thing about it, it would be my iron not reaching the temperature shown on the digital display. For example, the hottest iron I measured when set to 800F was about 564F, but that doesn't matter to me because it heats up very quickly. I would give it five stars if it reached the same temperatures that are listed. The insulation around the handle works great. I've had a few of these irons in the past and have usually had to wear gloves to avoid burning my hand from the excessive heat rushing back into the iron. As for the overall design of the iron, I would have liked to see it come with a slightly longer cord. The thin tip didn't last very long, but I would like to attribute it to the tip cleaner leaking. The tip could go bad pretty quickly because it stayed dirty and hot for a very long time. I use the iron a lot as my new favorite iron and I think the next upgrade review will focus on how long the iron itself lasts. As for the kit as a whole, I would ditch the coax wire cutters as not very many people will be using them and replace them with regular wire cutters or straight tweezers.
