Review on KYB KG6412 Gas A Just Gas Shock by Mitch Warner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great price and easy installation for an RV!

I have to say I'm glad I bought these shocks for my Class A Motorhome! I did the install without lifting the rig and apart from adjusting my increasingly large torso around the front wheels to get to the studs/bolts this install was easy. The product comes with a new top bolt which you will use, but other nuts and such will NOT fit my original P30 chassis bottom bolt. I have used lock washers and the like to replace old original equipment whenever possible. Don't throw away your gear until you've verified that the parts included in the bag work. Tread pitch and class were different. But although there were a few pocket nuts left after the install, this install went fine, and the shocks? Well let's just say compared to the old and shot originals it made the ride amazing! It's nice not to be flung around after hitting a pothole or bump in the road. They were made for Class A RVs on P30 chassis (Chevy) that do NOT have mono beam front suspension. My front suspension is independent (upper and lower wishbones, coil springs).

  • Shocks, Struts & Suspension
Cons
