My son has a concrete wall that cuts the WiFi signal by 2/3. I wish I knew where to pierce directly, but I must have hit some kind of rebar. The end of the Ethernet port was almost as wide as the opening. So drilling was only part of the problem. I bought a 50ft ethernet cable and two 5 port splitters with Tp power supply. One on my side and one on his PS4 and PC on his side. Work for an amateur but it works. At least I didn't cause any major damage such as plumbing or electrics. A puncher would be better and faster, but I haven't bought one yet. Tempting now. Can be sold or used.
