Review on KitchenAid KO160OHAQA Gourmet Strainer 5 Inch by Emily Oakes

I don't know why it is oval in the description but as Revain's photos show it is round. The mesh is fine (ie with small holes) which you can see enlarged by hovering over the Revain photos. There is no rubber grip on the grip as one reviewer thought. It's plastic ("matte ABS"), but quite tough. The plastic rim measures 4-1/2" on the inside and just under 5-3/8" on the outside. Length 13-3/16 inches. The mesh is about 2-1/4 inches deep. The "arch" at the end slopes down so it hugs the walls of the pot or bowl. Can be washed in the dishwasher. Made in China.
