Review on DuroFox Pocket Hole Jig Set with Screws, Clamp, Drill Guide, and Plug Jig by Vincent Burton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great light, but narrow openings and weak magnets.

I've never used pocket hole tools so I'm not that used to it. This seems like a great kit for a HOBBIST. Pilot holes are only 3/4" center-to-center. I just drilled 100 holes on the ends of the 2x4. Needless to say, I had to move the jig for each individual hole to get them evenly across the 3.5-in -To spread wood. When drilling a blind hole, the bushing shears off in the pilot hole. I'm not sure if this is normal, but I reckon I'll drill 250-300 holes before the bushing goes away. The description says that the clip is magnetic but it is actually a device with 4 small square magnets. If they were a little more powerful that would be a useful feature. They are barely strong enough to hold the device using only gravity against it. Also am I satisfied with the price and overall satisfied with the kit.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Nothing here
