They will NOT fit my Chevy Blazer 96 tailgate. I had to modify one end of each shock to fit my sunroof mounts only to realize this after over an hour They were WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA too strong for this light glass. I had to use all 220 pounds of my weight to lower the glass and I felt like it was about to break. So I had to remove them. The pistons are about twice the size of stock shocks and the fit on one end is mismatched. Only use them if you can ensure they will fit and can lift something very heavy.
