Review on Moderne Flush Mount Conversion Kit 16"W Textured Oatmeal Hardback Drum Lampshade by Bogdan Swizzle

I am very happy with this conversion kit. Provides everything you need. I needed to change the light bulb in my room, which had the old style flush mounted ceiling light. I had a hard time unscrewing the knob on the old flush mount light fixture because it was too tight. It is also glass, and if not careful when changing, it could fall on your head. When I was finally able to loosen the knob (using a wrench) to remove the glass covering, I knew it was time to get rid of this old, outdated flush mount style light. I wanted something easy, simple, yet still chic. I did not want to have to install an entirely new light fixture as it seemed too complicated for me with the wiring.This conversion kit was perfect. It came with the lamp shade (16 inch), a diffuser, a connector rod, 3 different size threaded rod and lock nuts. I needed the connector rod and threaded rod as my current threaded rod was too short. I flipped the rings/spider arms on the lamp shade the opposite direction from the instructional video because it was interfering with my light bulbs. It worked out perfectly and I use the medium size threaded knob and connector to extend the rod. Lastly, I placed the diffuser on and tada! A newly upgraded drum ceiling light.This was easy to install and the instructional YouTube video (https://youtu.be/2qYiNA75bac) helped explain exactly how to install. I would highly recommend purchasing this conversion kit if you are looking to upgrade/get rid of the old flush mount ceiling fixture in your home. This kit has everything you need. You won’t need an electrician to help install and the decor adds a modern flair to your room as well. Thanks for a great product!
