I have never used cotton yarn, which I find very soft. To me, cotton yarn seems good, but not the best. But he is durable. Now there are some cotton threads that I haven't actually touched that might seem softer, like Stylecraft. But I was looking for a similar but cheaper yarn to replace what the chart recommended. That seems to fit the bill. The yarn stitches quite well, but on rare occasions I have to repeat a stitch because the yarn broke. That doesn't happen often and I'm very happy with the product. I will likely purchase this yarn again in the future for something I want to make durable and my main concern is not the hand of the finished product.
