Review on 🐠 XpertMatic DB-366 Quiet Aquarium Air Pump: Powerful 127GPH 7W Oxygen Pump for 10-90 Gallon Fish Tank with 2 Outlets, Air Stones, Check Valves, and Tubes by Kim Major

Worked only 6 months and finally lost power.

I thought the product reviews were decent. I bought it for 54 liters. When I set everything up and ran it at the highest possible pressure, I was surprised at the low filtration rate. Although I was relatively new to this hobby, I blamed everything. A few weeks later a friend of mine with over 20 years of hobby came to me and looked at it and told me it was enough but barely. He laughed when I told him it was rated for 100 gallons. After about three months I noticed that it filtered even less and got very noisy. Even louder than at the beginning. I wring out my filters weekly with every water change. I take my filters apart monthly to flush the inside and back to make sure there is no debris or clogs. Today when I woke up there was almost no filtration. My fish (African cichlids) gasped and went to the top. I pulled out an old 50 gallon pump I bought at a garage sale and it worked better than this one and this one was in use and at least 10 years old. return date. This pump doesn't cost $4, let alone close to $40. Terrible product.
