I have an e-bike and my old battery compartment quickly broke. I soon replaced it with this new rack. A few days later the aluminum plate I had attached the battery to this new stand broke off because it was barely welded and the battery weighs 20 pounds. I'm not surprised by this, but a little better welding could go a long way. I ended up leaving the rack and adding mounting brackets to hold everything together. I'm still using the modified rack, even after a few splashes at high speed (about 20 mph).
