OK and light weight

Put on the Mungo Malus. Fits and feels strong. Nice to note that with a relatively low seat I have to mount the post almost all the way up, which is possible with a standard seatpost. The strut under the strut sticks out more than a few inches and the strut must be lifted to release the tire. It also makes it a little harder to mount the bike.

Pros
  • Everything super!
Cons
  • old

missing screw in cycling

missing side fender screw. Count your parts before you start. Didn't notice until I put it on so I can't attach any of the side wings now. At the moment it's ok because I only have one basket, but I have to go to the warehouse to find one in the right size (and I'll probably have to buy 6 for my problem :-( )

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • has defects

I had to redo the stands.

I have an e-bike and my old battery compartment quickly broke. I soon replaced it with this new rack. A few days later the aluminum plate I had attached the battery to this new stand broke off because it was barely welded and the battery weighs 20 pounds. I'm not surprised by this, but a little better welding could go a long way. I ended up leaving the rack and adding mounting brackets to hold everything together. I'm still using the modified rack, even after a few splashes at high speed (about

Cheap and easy to break

I've had this rack for about two weeks and it broke in half on my way home from work tonight. I used it to carry a small tool box that contained a lithium battery and a controller for my e-bike motor. It weighed a maximum of 10 pounds and broke in half in just two weeks of driving. This rack is a poor product and I would run away from it, I need something that will actually hold while working. If you look at the photos you can see half of the rack that was still attached to my bike and theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

  • Requires outlet

I'm so glad I bought this shelf!

It's perfect! I was hesitant to try a product that only had 2 reviews but I decided anyway because one of the reviewers posted photos and a really good review and I'm glad I gave it a chance. My bike looks absolutely amazing, it's very durable and very easy to put on. Took me about 45m. This was my first bike rack I have ever installed. Someone with more experience could probably do it at 15-20m. This one is clamp based too! This is exactly what I needed. I have holes on the bottom of my bikeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Works well until it falls apart

This shelf works great when everything is in place. It held all the weight I needed and stayed strong. Until the screws loosen and the gaskets fall out. Nuts/bolts have loosened causing the seals to move. The bolts were easy to tighten, swap out and prevent with nylock bolts to keep them from turning out during hard riding. Gaskets are trickier (because the screws will move and fall out) and you'll need to find a material/substance to better secure them in the clamp they're installed in (tapeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Security

All is well. good for cycling

I think I pointed that out in my review earlier. But this time I checked, I gave my second opinion. Included were all the tools to install the trunk. The only complaint I encountered is the side supports. These are long tubes that attach to the bike's rack and frame. If you lift the stand, the side tubes will slide off. Even if you can tighten the screws as tight as you can, they will slip out. Now for adding things to the rack. It becomes questionable how to lay pipes. If you tighten the bolts

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Some cons
