Collar for cats that hate collars

I have tried 3 other collars on my cat since I got it 3 years ago. Each of them caused chills in the back, constant jerking up, and fear. This worsens over the course of a few days after the collars are put on and lasts for a few days after they are removed. I've always made sure there's enough room between the collar and neck to slip a couple of fingers in so they're never too tight. When I was looking for lightweight collars, I came across these Beastie Bands. I love it and my cat doesn't mind (which is saying a lot)! Occasional [normal] scratchy throat, but nothing unusual or persistent. That also looks very nice. It even has a small hole with a plastic ring so you can hang a bell or something similar on the collar. They also come in a variety of styles. The only real problem my car had was that while he was cleaning his neck, the collar got stuck in his mouth (this happened twice). Although I think it was my fault. I tightened the collar slightly and it hasn't happened since. If you have a cat that hates collars, give it a try!
