I've always tried to buy better branded products because it seems we're getting better lives and better products. This particular blade was readily available and our last blade (not this product) that needed replacing wore out and broke without warning after a few years of use. So, in typical Amazon fashion, we ordered it the next day. So far we've used it to cut brick, block, stone, pottery, and porcelain several hundred feet. I've also used it to clip nails and grind concrete floor nails on emergence. It still looks and acts like NEW. My first thought was that if it made the necessary cut I needed it was worth it once because it was only $15, it's no big deal if it fails. After using it, it became my drive at the wheel. If you cut out false joints, that's great. It's wide (almost 1/8 inch), nothing in the description about it. But you can make a wrong groove in one go. poorly cut, can easily be weathered or repaired. We even loosen the edges of the tiles by hand and then grind them down with a whetstone. The shaft adapter behaves like a hand rest and works quite well. Great tool for a fantastic price. I greatly underestimated the product. Based on this experience, I will buy more SHDIATOOL products.
