Review on Midwest Can 2310 Auto Shut Off Gasoline Can - 2 Gallon with Quick-Flow Spout by Brian Pius

Can't inject gas, can't outgas

All the negative reviews complain about the "safe" spout, which is a valid complaint as it's almost impossible to vent gas from this bottle. My biggest complaint is the gas that gets into the jug in the first place. Inside the glass is a plastic insert with many small holes. Go to the gas station, put the nozzle in the canister and you will get wet when you pull the lever to get gas. The only way to get him to take anything is to have a flow rate of about 1/4 gallon per hour. I stood at the gas station trying my best to get the POS out of the can and ended up just shoving it in so I could fill up. They attach pins to this insert so it cannot be pulled out. Once you've pushed it in, you can wrestle with it and flip the insert over and pull it out again. Essentially, you're buying a jar because you're destroying the insert and needing to buy new flexible tubing to use it. Garbage design at best
