I bought a Nissan D21 1986.5 (hard) pickup. One of the previous owners cut off the connector on one side in a strange attempt to fix a wiring issue. This shortened the cables by a few inches, but there was already more than enough cable connected to these outlets. This enabled me to avoid having to solder in an extension cord. This plug is very well made and has rubber around the plug to keep moisture out of the plugs. I added some conductive grease to the pins on the headlight (my truck uses sealed headlights) and they connected instantly, nice and smooth. The rubber coating protects the metal contacts better than the OEM connector and also appears to be stronger. I was so pleased with it that I cut off the OEM connector on the other side and replaced it with this one. There are some photos of it being installed in my build log at the end of this post if you want to see how it looks. in use - [.]
