First. the wires hardly protrude from the insulating sleeve. It wasn't easy to make connections. I ended up having to solder wires to the end of this pigtail to make it long enough to use butt connectors. Secondly. Jacket design is wrong. When connecting to the headlights, the wires look up. This means it's EASY for water to run through the wires into the outlet. The wires must be pointing DOWN for the pigtail to automatically drain moisture that gets into it.

They are cheap and I wouldn't use them. The most unpleasant thing is that the wires are all insulated, they contain almost no copper! I measured with my wire strippers and they are 18 AWG. Our 1998 Subaru Imprezza Headlight experienced something pretty ordinary; The low beam went out, then the high beam. After replacing the lightbulb everything went away. The socket has melted.
