Review on POWERTEC 71014 Non-Slip Router Pad, 24x48 inches, Black by Maurice Branch

The material used for this strikes me as attractive compared to what is typically sold as non slip rug pads or non slip shelf pads with the exception of the wood finish finish and this one rug being black. Color is the only difference. I would prefer the wood color as it doesn't show sanding dust as easily as black, but maybe black is better because it encourages you to wash the mat from time to time to remove the dust and thus better save on the rubberized coating . the clothing. It works well for small parts that are hand or machine sanded and provides good cushioning for parts that can be scratched and should not be in direct contact with the tabletop. The price of this material is comparable to what you would pay for a similar sized piece of anti-slip mat or shelf. Update JUNE 2019: I bought a second one which is identical to the first so I must have liked how well the first worked. They do their job very well.
