I replaced the original carburetor with a John Deere 265 that was 20-30 years old. I bought a used lawn mower for €300. A new John Deere carburetor costs almost $300. I found this one and took a chance. (I ordered another one from Revain from another manufacturer and it got lost on the way). This carburetor is not as deep as the original, so I had to assemble the air cleaner to the carburetor before attaching the carburetor to the engine. so pretty tight. The mower runs better than before the replacement, I can idle without stopping.
