If you are looking at this article you obviously want to have some fun. Removing the old one due to the location of the bolt is a hoot. My truck is 2002 or late 2001 with 13mm bolts. I thought that due to the amount of rust and the fact that these screws have been there for 20 years, they would be difficult to remove. But believe it or not, they weren't that difficult to remove. Having a long-handled wrench will save you time. In any case, this product appears to be of good quality and the cable is heavier than it appears in the photos. The only thing I was wondering about is the one bolt on this one that is different as I had 4 bolts. I think that's because the rivets they use prevent a bolt at this point. This is not a problem and all the holes matched. The only thing I wish they would add new screws. So if you need to grind yours down, you'll need new bolts. They are M8 1.25 16mm long and the grade is kinda weird. Great, but 8.8 or higher should work. I am very happy with this purchase.
