Review on 🚗 Dorman Fuel Level Sensor 911-048 for Hyundai: Enhanced SEO-specific Model Selection by John Rivera

Ordered these sensors for my 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe with the usual faulty fuel gauges [they really should recall these OEM parts]. Installed it last weekend. Installation is a little tricky for a beginner mechanic, but overall just take your time and learn about YouTube and you should be good to go. One thing I noticed with these gauges/floats is that immediately after installing the check engine light went out, however the fuel gauge only went up to 1/2 even after I filled up completely. After driving them about 50-100 miles the floats seemed to align and give accurate readings and are now working great. So be prepared to see erratic readings at first, but give them a little time to even out before going through the whole re-tanking process.
