Approved for children!: Water skiing and towing

In our river "career" we have had many snorkels. When our last 4 person whistle ran out, we settled on this one. Let me start by saying that we are not boring tubers. Our children are 23 and 16 years old and they bring their friends. We don't just sit there relaxed - we do sports. I wrote about it while writing this review. CONS: Husband doesn't like the way he drags. We have a Yamaha 230 SX Ho. We tow from a boat (no tower). He said it was "heavy" and didn't drag as well as our previous cameras. When we started, the nose often gave out. The kids just shifted their weight backwards and we started a little slower - problem solved. There is a metal hook on the rope, which is a connector with a tube. We didn't like the metal (it's hot in AZ in the summer), we preferred the old plastic. But this one allows you to use different tow points. You move the metal hook to the nearest tow point. PROS: Kids love it! For example, you can tow front, rear and side - they tried all 3. They actually preferred side towing and said sideways (so they were looking ahead). I don't know why, they said he had more of a whip. Different configurations made it fun for kids. My daughter (23) and son (16) braced themselves on their backs and could really stand "on wheels". They had so much fun. UPDATE: We bought a towed amp tube and loved it. Stopped drivers from getting water on their faces and also helped with snorkeling. WILL BUY AGAIN! Gets 4 stars for diving and heavy towing. When my kids drove the boat, they didn't notice the weight.
