This is awesome! We have a half wall between the kitchen and living room and the light in the kitchen is aggressive - my husband sometimes washes the dishes with a headlamp so the light doesn't blind me when I put ours up in the living room. I wanted something that would make the light from the living room less aggressive, but also not be an eyesore or completely block the light from moving between rooms. I took a bunch of dividers and hung them, but the walls alone weren't enough because there's nothing between the structures. These Mylar sheets came to the rescue! I was able to attach them with double sided tape and voila! Translucent beautiful divider - the light still comes through, it looks great and now I can look straight at the kitchen light through the panels without being blinded. (I don't really know how Mylar works, but it completely changes the look of the light through it - I see individual filaments and the light looks a lot warmer.) So happy with this purchase!
