My CAG loves looking for treats. He has 2 17 year olds who provide mental stimulation and fun that he can either take into the maze to find or unlock for a treat. He either never liked other puzzles or they broke quickly. Stumbled across this one by accident. It's been a while since something caught my attention. I ordered this and it arrived quickly. In the first week he showed little interest. It's not uncommon to have something new in a cage. By the second week, I realized he didn't know there were treats inside. I threw away the old almonds in the shell and replaced them with 2 fresh ones and this time I left the top ajar slightly so he could see what was inside but couldn't get it out without undoing the screws. He worked hard on day one to finally get his prize. This is now his favorite puzzle. Now he has 3 puzzles to keep him busy. It didn't take long after he found out the first time, but he's so proud when he pulls out the treat. Stupid luck I found this, but I'm very glad I found it. Worth every penny to watch him enjoy. Also strong. It will not end up in pieces at the bottom of the cage. If you have destructive chewing gum, rest assured that you won't be able to break it.
