2003 Dodge Ram 1500

It took me a minute to understand the programming as the instructions that came with the package are correct but only after the car is in programming mode. The instructions say nothing about how to find out or how to put the car into programming mode. I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500. The car beeped once telling me it was in programming mode and then I was able to follow the instructions that came with the product to program the remote. If I remember correctly. I held the lock and unlock button for 10 seconds, released, pressed the panic button and released until the machine rang. I think I had to repeat it two or three times. Once programmed, the remote works well, although I don't like having to press the lock button twice to lock the car. Otherwise everything is good.

Pros
  • The exclusive solution includes a patented programming module that plugs into the OBD-II port to program a new module using the vehicle's existing coding. Housing material: plastic.
Cons
  • Big and bulky
