I bought this for general cleaning in my basement, I didn't want to struggle up and down the stairs with my big vacuum cleaner, I have an old house with a slab foundation so there is a lot of dust around the edges and corners, it worked great it even collected things i hadn't thought of i was very impressed how it sucked up cobwebs my only suggestion is to get a second filter so you can vacuum one and have another in the vacuum cleaner clean filter has a big one Value, it's a smaller vacuum cleaner. So the filter is shorter than the big ones, the size of the vacuum makes it easy to toss in a bin bag and carry down the stairs which is very impressive.
