2020-007-30 UPDATE: As for my previous concern, all the magnets broke on the first 2nd or 3rd use of these vise jaws. As previously mentioned, the magnets are not countersunk or even flush, but rather protrude beyond the hole they sit in, which puts all of the clamping force directly on the four magnets on each jaw on the jaw and it falls to the ground. By raising one or both jaws 4-5 times, even the most humble person will say a few nice words. All the manufacturer had to do was provide appropriate strength magnets and mount them flush or slightly lower so they don't collapse under the force of the clamp. ORIGINAL review: They appear to be of good/commercial quality. The first problem I noticed is that they are TOO SHORT (5.80 inches). More serious problems have to do with the magnets used to hold them to the vise jaws. Each of the four magnets extends .050" beyond the hole in which it is installed. This means that the clamping force squeezes the magnets between the vise jaws and the aluminum jaw plate. Please update this review after using these baking plates.) In addition, they are extremely weak, generating only 100 grams of magnetic force. They hardly stop. These are definitely NOT neodymium magnets as I expected (my guess, my mistake)
