Expensive heart rate monitor (or toy sailing watch)

Good quality watch. Good size and great style. What is the main reason for the purchase? Not worth it in my opinion. As a professional sailor I consider this a waste of money due to poor navigation features. Here are some details about the Sailing app (which you can install on much cheaper Garmin watches, by the way): - You can't choose which waypoint to start navigating from. If you don't start over, GPS navigation is useless. Routes created in apps other than the watch itself (e.g. Navionics, Garmin Explore) simply show the estimated time of arrival and distance to the final destination, rendering the watch useless as a navigation aid. - Nautical units only work for speed and distance traveled, all other distances are displayed in either km or miles. Why a SAIL WATCH that does that? - VMG only works when connected to a chartplotter. For this expensive "nautical clock" I find it pretty bad. (My 90's GPS would have given me VMG). It does not transmit a GPS signal to a paired tablet on which you display charts, for example. I appreciate the good support from the Garmin team but overall it's overpriced for what you would expect from a Garmin sailing watch.
