Clock in beta mode needs editing

Very difficult to set up as Garmin didn't bother to put together instructions for the boat data feature, the watch's main benefit. After several calls to tech support I was told that I just couldn't get boat speed on the same screen as depth and temperature because the watch doesn't support it.

Nice Nautical Watch

A good watch is a little pricey, but it works with Garmin autopilots and will repeat boat data from later Garmin multifunction displays. They're pretty easy to use once you get used to their five buttons. It synchronizes the time with your phone or with GPS satellites. You can quickly switch to UTC or other time zones of your choice. You can save the position (MOB); I want to be able to remember the time or multiple times including seconds for a later call.

  • This is awesome

Bigger than expected and solar not as efficient

I chose the Quatix 6 Solar after looking at my friends' non-solar models. Battery life (or rather, having to think about charging) was an issue. for her. Right out of the box I was surprised to find that the solar model has a larger face and a shorter face than the non-solar model - neither in a good way. It's almost too big for everyday use. The frustration continued when I discovered that while the solar feature extends battery life, it can't just be used to charge the battery - meaning ifโ€ฆ

Expensive heart rate monitor (or toy sailing watch)

Good quality watch. Good size and great style. What is the main reason for the purchase? Not worth it in my opinion. As a professional sailor I consider this a waste of money due to poor navigation features. Here are some details about the Sailing app (which you can install on much cheaper Garmin watches, by the way): - You can't choose which waypoint to start navigating from. If you don't start over, GPS navigation is useless. Routes created in apps other than the watch itself (e.g. Navionics,
